About Laura Ward
Laura Ward is the founder behind Hispano Consulting and the owner of the Hispanos Exitosos trademark, two projects rooted in her 15 years as a social worker serving Hispanic communities. That career gave her a ground-level understanding of what immigrant families actually need, and it shaped every decision she made when building her own organizations.
Before launching Hispano Consulting, Laura spent five years in dedicated immigration education alongside an immigration attorney. That training, layered on top of her social work background, prepared her to lead an operation that now runs three offices, two in Tennessee and one in Florida. The team includes two immigration attorneys and one DOJ accredited representative. She also founded RISE Immigration Services, a nonprofit arm focused specifically on immigration consultations for those who need it most.
What sets Laura apart is not a title or a credential. It's the fact that she was in the community long before she built an organization around it. She watched families face deportation, detention, and deep isolation. She saw how a lack of reliable, compassionate guidance could unravel years of progress for a single household. Her approach has always been the same: show up with expertise, be honest about what's possible, and treat every client with the same care she brought to her first day as a social worker.
Laura's partnership with Immigration Annex and attorney Wynter Pfundme has been central to expanding her reach. Hundreds of families have come through her offices, and their stories, many documented across her Facebook and Instagram pages, reflect what consistent, community-rooted work actually looks like over time. She's especially focused on citizenship education and making sure families know what resources are available to them.
Her vision going forward is straightforward: keep serving the community based on its real and evolving needs. The work is far from finished, and Laura Ward has no plans to slow down.
